About a dog named Luka and a nurse named Allie

Luka is a 1 year old male Belgian Malinois / German Shepherd mix. He was adopted him from the Animal Foundation when he was 8 weeks old. He weighs about 70lb. He is an expert fetcher and mediocre frisbee player. His name means 'light' in Latin.

Allie is currently working as a nurse and as a dog trainer for a company called Pride K9 Solutions that produces patrol and detection dogs. We live in Las Vegas, NV.


We post pictures of Luka's daily antics. We also review products we love and products we don't love as well as posting anecdotes, lessons learned, training tips, and more.
